Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before you cut.

What file types can I upload?

PNG, JPG/JPEG and most common image formats up to 32 MB.

Which DXF versions are supported?

R2000 (LWPOLYLINE) and R12 (POLYLINE with bulge arcs). R12 opens in almost every CAM and embroidery package.

Will the DXF be the right size?

Yes. Enter the real width in mm or inches and the geometry is scaled to match. For blueprint sheets the scale applies to the detected panel, not the whole page.

Which machines can use the files?

Laser, plasma, waterjet and CNC routers. Layers are separated so you can set cut order and feed rates per layer.

Why are some details missing?

Very small features are filtered as noise. Lower the minimum length or raise detail sensitivity, and use a sharper source image.

What are stencil bridges?

Small connections that keep inner islands (like the centre of an O) attached so they do not fall out when cut.

Is my image stored?

No. Images are processed in memory to build the result and are not saved on the server. See the privacy page.

Is there a Windows app?

Yes, a standalone Windows build runs the same converter locally. Contact us for the download.
